Oman orders extra C-130Js

The Sultanate of Oman has ordered two additional C-130J Hercules.

August 25: Lockheed Martin says that the Sultanate of Oman has ordered two additional C-130J Hercules, bringing its total to three.

On June 5, 2009 Oman ordered a single C-130J-30 ‘stretched’ Super Hercules for projected delivery in mid-2012 and the two extra aircraft will be the ‘normal’ C-130J Hercules with projected delivery dates of late 2013 and early 2014.
