The aircraft were formally presented to Omani officials in a ceremony held at BAE Systems’ Military Air & Information business at Warton, United Kingdom. More than 100 delegates witnessed the event, including His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Minister Responsible For Defence Affairs (MRDA) and the Commander of the RAFO, Air Vice-Marshal Mattar bin Ali bin Mattar Al Obaidani. The event was followed by a brief flypast of a RAFO Typhoon.
