The District of Colombia Army National Guard’s 121st Medical Company at Davison Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is one of many US Army units now equipped with the UH-72A Lakota and uses the helicopters to provide support in the nation’s capital area, with medical evacuation (medevac), homeland security, support and logistics missions. The manufacturer has now delivered over half of the planned total of 345 Lakotas that are to be acquired by the US Army. EADS North America
