Enter the Avenger

 

The Royal Navy is to name its King Airs ‘Avenger’.

December 8: The Royal Navy has confirmed that its new Beechcraft King Air 350s are to be called ‘Avenger’.

The King Airs will equip 750 Naval Air Squadron at Culdrose in Cornwall on retirement of the Jetstream T2, of which eight are still in service but are expected to be withdrawn at the end of March 2011.
