Canada’s first C-130J

 

The first C-130J ‘Super Hercules’ for the Canadian Armed Forces has been rolled out.

January 13: The first Lockheed Martin C-130J ‘Super Hercules’ produced for the Canadian Armed Forces was rolled out of the company’s paint facility in Marietta, Georgia.

Canada ordered 17 C-130Js on January 16, 2008 with deliveries scheduled for completion in 2013. The new aircraft will replace the CC-130E, in service since December 1964.
